Believe it or not, I have wanted to be REALTOR as long as I can remember. Growing up as a small-town kid in rural Manitoba in the pre-reality TV era, I’m not even sure how I even knew what a realtor was, never mind came up with the idea that they were glamorous smart professionals that got to negotiate high-stakes deals for beautiful homes, but somehow I did, and from the very beginning, I definitely knew it was for me.

After becoming a mom, and shepherding my son through his early years plus our family through a couple of interprovincial moves, we settled in Winnipeg, and in 2009, I started my career in real estate. I began with managing all the day to day activities of a busy real estate team, and ensuring that clients got the best service at all times…and I LOVED it!

After four years as a high-level real estate administrator, which required not only intimate knowledge of the business but some pretty slick negotiation skills, I was ready for the next step. I became a licensed REALTOR in 2013.

Relationships Matter

Now with over 6 years as an active REALTOR under my belt, I know that being successful requires two key elements.

The drive comes from the excitement of helping people make one of life’s biggest investments, and the joy of witnessing people’s home ownership goals come true. But the element that is equally key to doing a good job for my clients, and a total match with my analytical and detail-oriented nature, is the capacity to gather all the information clients need (and more) to make confident, balanced, and informed decisions. 

Ultimately, although there are so many aspects of real estate that I enjoy, I have to say that meeting people and developing great relationships is what I love most! Relationships matter. In fact, in real estate--as in life--they are everything!

The Next Step

After over six successful & rewarding years in real estate, I moved my practice to partner with Scott Moore and the Moore Group. The Moore Group is the perfect home for me. At the End of the Day

When not helping clients buy or sell their dream home, I can be found hanging out with my 15-year-old son, spending lots of time in our yard and going for bike rides. I also enjoy staying active and really enjoy running and I am working towards completing my first half marathon this year- and I’m hoping it will be the first of many.
