The forest and walkout lake lots are approximately $250,000, lookout lake lots are approximately $225,000, and standard lots are approximately $220,000.

The construction cost to build a home depends on the size of the home, the builder you use, and the upgrades and finishes you choose.

Generally, the cost to build a home in Forest Grove Estates will be in the range of $325-$500 per square foot— but of course the sky is the limit. Not included in that price is the goods and services tax (GST), and the costs for landscaping, appliances, and window coverings. AC and driveway may or may not be included in the build cost.

For example, building a 2800 sqft two-storey on a $250,000 lot with Discovery Homes will likely cost in the range of $1.2-1.3M, including lot and GST.

The nice thing about building a home is that the choice of size and finishing work is all under your control, so you can splurge where you want, and save where it makes sense for you.

 
How long does it take to build a home in Forest Grove Estates?

Construction timelines vary by builder, and depend on the size of the home and the features and finishing work that you select, but a typical range would be 12-18 months.

The first permits for Forest Grove Estates are expected to be issued in Fall 2023, so the first homes will be ready for possession in Fall/Winter 2024.

Headingley sport shop is a locally owned business serving powersports enthusiasts in Headingley, surrounding areas & other provinces for over 50 years. You’ll also find tons of convenience stores and gas stations throughout the neighbourhood as the Trans Canada Highways runs through here.
